FRITZ GAJEWSKI, one of 24 top officials of the giant I. G. Farben Chemical Trust on trial in Nurnberg before a U.S. Military Tribunal, appears in the witness box in his own defense. A member of the managing body of Farben, Gajewski was in charge of the production of all photographic materials and manager of all Afga plants.In addition to the charge of exploiting slave labor, the 21 Farben directors are charge with helping Hitler secretly re-arm Germany for new wars of conquest, with plunder of occupied countries, membership in the SS, and with conspiring to commit crimes against peace.
