Description
One of three I. G. Farben defendants allowed to cross examine a prosecution witness was Fritz Ter Meer, former Chief of the Technical Committee of the Managing Board of Directors and a high official in the production of poison gas. Ter Meer, shown at the podium, conducted his examination in English. Members of Tribunal Six hearing the case include, left to right, Judge James Morris, Presiding Judge Curtis G. Shake, Judge Paul M. Hebert, and Judge Clarence K. Merrell.
