KARL von HEYDER, former employee of I. G. Farben Industry, was a prosecution witness in the Nurnberg war crimes trial of 23 former Farben officials October 3, 1947. He testified that Farben stored material for making poison gas long before the war, but added that he did not believe this stock piling necessarily showed that the concern was helping to prepare Germany for war
