Description
Several officials of the Farben combine pose for a snapshot, little realizing at the time the same group might be reunited as members under an indictment. Left to right in front include Hermann Schmitz; Carl Krauch, now number one defendant in the case bearing the Farben name before hearing at Nurnberg; Hermann Abs of the German Bank; Georg von Schnitzler and Fritz Gajewski. In rear, same or de(...) include August von Knieriem, Hans Kuehne and Fritz Ter Meer. All with the exception of Schmitz who has acquired a white beard, all officials could be called for a retake that could measure up identically.
