Abstract
The article looks at the provision of post marital agreement in Louisiana and Louisiana's Civil Code Article 2329. It informs that Louisiana's Civil Code failed to adapt to the changing reality of marriage in the country and also discusses the code employs several exceptions to the court-approval requirement, introducing inconsistency and confusion into the marital agreement. It further discusses the need to regulating marital agreements.
