Description

The building pictured is the section of the Nurnberg Palace of Justice that housed the courtroom where Hermann Goering and 20 other among his Nazi cohorts of the International Military Tribunal known as the "21 of Nurnberg", were tried and found guilty as war criminals. Subsequent trials of suspected war criminals composed of leading Nazi governmental figures, SS leaders, and industrialists, have been held in the Palace of Justice.
