Description
Carl Krauch, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Directors of the huge Farben Cartel, stands in the position of the Nurnberg dock once occupied by Hermann Goering, to plead not guilty to charges brought against him of committing war crimes. The defendant Krauch, on Goering's staff in the Office of the Four Year Plan, was indicted with twenty-three other officials of the chemical combine on 5 May and the arraignment before a military tribunal in the Palace of Justice on 14 August 1947.
