DR. WERNER HAGERT, former official of the German Chemical Industrial Group, an association of the industrialists engaged in the manufacture of chemicals, was an American prosecution witness October 1, 1947 in the case against 23 Farben officials charged with planning and waging aggressive wars, with using slave labor in their plants, and other crimes. Dr. HAGERT testified that the I. G. Farben Industry received huge profits from their participation in Hitler's Four Year Plan.
