Description
Paul Schmidt, Hitler's onetime interpreter, shown on the witness stand at Nurnberg where he testified for the American prosecution in the case against former officials of I. G. Farben. Schmidt testified that many leading citizens in Germany thought that Hitler would plunge the world into war. His testimony was introduced to show that men in Farben high circles knew aggressive war was the goal in the Fuhrer's plans.
