Annual Institute on Mineral Law
About This Journal
The Louisiana Mineral Law Institute was created in 1953 as an annual continuing legal education program. The goal of the Institute is to promote an understanding of the mineral law of Louisiana and neighboring states, and to facilitate the development of the law through educational activities. In 2013 the Sixtieth Annual Institute was held at the LSU Law Center, drawing nearly 400 lawyers, landmen, and industry executives from several states.
