OTTO AMBROS, former Chief of the Chemical Warfare Committee of the German Ministry of Armaments and War Production and defendant in the war crimes trial of 21 former officials of the I.G. Farben Industry, is shown standing in the dock of a Nurnberg court room August 14, 1947, when he pleaded "not guilty" to charges of planning and waging wars of aggression, plunder, and spoliation of countries occupied by Germany during the war, exploitation of slave labor, murder and torture of foreign nationals and prisoners of war, and other crimes.
