Description
Carl Krauch, chairman of the board of directors of the vast I. G. Farben chemical combine, makes his final plea at Nurnberg, where he is on trial as a war criminal. Krauch and his co-defendants were indicted last May (1947) of war crime charges arising from Farben's alleged "partnership" in Hitler's conquests.Krauch asked the Tribunal to acquit him and to "return to me my honor, which was taken away from me by the prosecution."Sitting at the table behind Krauch are members of the prosecution.----Photo 11 June 1948---
